Dr. Safar who hails from Kerala, India did his Masters in Periodontics from Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu, India. Then he did fellowship in Oral Implantology from International Congress of Oral Implantologist, ICOI (USA). He is a member of Indian Society of Periodontists as well as ICOI (USA). Before joining Green Health, he worked as specialist periodontist, implantologist and laser dentist at ECHS (Ex-servicemen Contributory Health Scheme) hospital as well as consultant to many hospitals in and around Kerala. Along with his accolades in academics and his flair to implantology in his private practice he also worked as Associate Professor in Malabar Dental College and Research Centre. Recently he has been granted privilege by QCHP to practice Lasers and Oral Implantology in State of Qatar.
